Characteristics of ferrosilicon grain inoculant 75:

Economically cheap; organization to reduce white mouth, improve section tissue uniformity, promote A-type graphite, increase the number of eutectic clusters, reduce segregation; performance to improve strength, increase toughness.

The amount of use should be decided according to the actual situation, and the relationship between the original pig iron and the liquid iron situation after melting is very big. In general, for grey cast iron silica iron particles added 0.2 ~ 0.5%; for ductile iron, silica iron particles generally added 0.5 ~ 1.1%;

For cast iron level continuous casting ductile iron, iron silica particles are generally added for 0.8 ~ 1.5%.
