45% Fe Silicon Granules are characterized by their greyish appearance and crystalline structure,This alloy boasts a high melting point, typically ranging from 1200°C to 1250°C, and a density of around 2.4-2.7 g/cm³. Ferrosilicon has a high melting point, generally around 1200-1250°C, and is suitable for high temperature processes in the metallurgical industry.

Size: 1-5mm,1-10mm,5-10mm,10-50mm,10-100mm or by per customer's requirement.

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl): Ferro silicon reacts with hydrochloric acid, producing silicon tetrachloride (SiCl₄) and hydrogen gas (H₂): Si+4HCl→SiCl4+2H2Si + 4HCl \rightarrow SiCl₄ + 2H₂Si+4HCl→SiCl4​+2H2​

Sulfuric Acid (H₂SO₄): It reacts with concentrated sulfuric acid, forming silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and hydrogen gas: Si+2H2SO4→SiO2+2SO2+2H2OSi + 2H₂SO₄ \rightarrow SiO₂ + 2SO₂ + 2H₂OSi+2H2​SO4​→SiO2​+2SO2​+2H2​O

Nitric Acid (HNO₃): Ferro silicon is generally resistant to dilute nitric acid due to the formation of a passive oxide layer, but concentrated nitric acid can cause it to oxidize.

Ferro silicon reacts with molten alkalis, such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH), forming silicates and hydrogen gas: Si+2NaOH+H2O→Na2SiO3+2H2Si + 2NaOH + H₂O \rightarrow Na₂SiO₃ + 2H₂Si+2NaOH+H2​O→Na2​SiO3​+2H2​

Combustion: At high temperatures, finely divided ferro silicon can burn in the presence of oxygen, producing silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and iron oxide (Fe₂O₃).
