Ferro Silicon 75 (FeSi75) Description
Ferro Silicon 75 (FeSi75) is an iron-silicon alloy with a minimum silicon content of 75%. It is widely used as a deoxidizer and silicon additive in steelmaking and can also be used in foundry inoculation and ferroalloy production.
In steelmaking, silicon has a strong affinity with oxygen, which makes FeSi75 suitable for deoxidation and silicon adjustment. It can also be used as an alloying material in the production of structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and other steel grades where silicon addition is required.
