main properties of silicon:

 

• The crystal lattice of silicon is face-centered cubic of the diamond type, the parameter a = 0.54307 nm (other polymorphic modifications of silicon are also obtained at high pressures), but due to the greater length of the bond between Si-Si atoms compared to the length of the C-C bond, the hardness of silicon is significantly less than that of diamond;
• Silicon is brittle, only when heated above 800 °C does it become a plastic substance;
• Silicon is transparent to infrared radiation starting from a wavelength of 1.1 μm;
• The proper concentration of charge carriers is 5.81•1015 m−3 (for a temperature of 300 K).

2N – 4N material is available in the following sizes

0-10µm 0-20µm 0-45µm 0-60µm 0-75µm 0-100µm 0-150µm

5N material is available in 0-500 µm along with coarser sizes/chunks. 6N material is available as chunks.

Coarser grains are also available for some grades , for example 0.2-3mm. Sizes can be adapted to customers' requirements
