We supply coarse black silicon carbide grit in F-series abrasive grades and millimeter particle sizes for grinding, blasting and industrial material processing.

The available specification covers SiC contents from 98% to 99%, depending on grit size, together with controlled Fe2O3, free carbon and magnetic content.

When you select black silicon carbide, particle size and chemistry should be confirmed together. F-series grit and millimeter particles are different ways of specifying physical size, so send us the exact grading requirement used by your process before quotation.

If your internal specification requires tighter SiC purity, lower Fe2O3, lower free carbon or a defined magnetic-content limit, send us those values before quotation.

 

 

We supply both abrasive grit grades and millimeter-size black silicon carbide particles, but they should not be treated as interchangeable specifications.

You can use the F-series range when your abrasive process specifies a standardized grit designation such as F24, F36, F60, F80 or another required grade.

For applications that purchase material directly by particle dimension, the listed ranges include:

• 0–1 mm;
• 1–3 mm;
• 3–5 mm;
• 5–8 mm.

When size distribution affects your process, include the allowed undersize, oversize or sieve requirement in the purchase specification.

 

 

You can evaluate black silicon carbide grit for processing hard or brittle materials where a hard abrasive grain is required.

• 0–8mm particles: SiC ≥99%.

For incoming inspection, use the chemistry corresponding to the exact size you order rather than applying one general SiC percentage to every grit.
