Abnormal phenomena in ferrotitanium smelting

1) The wet charge is doped with the charge, the boiling phenomenon occurs, the furnace gas escapes unevenly, and a large amount of charge is emitted; Magnesia contains water to make sand nests and there is also spraying phenomenon.
2) The mixture of the charge is not uniform, and the smelting is not uniform.
3) Low heat per unit, slow reaction and long smelting time. The reason is that the reducing agent is not enough, the heat is low, or the preheating temperature of the charge is low, the cold stroke of smelting is formed, the bottom of the iron ingot is more sticky slag, the iron particles in the slag are more or the iron ingot is not fused well, and the slag is looser or the slag is included.
4) The unit heat is high or the preheating temperature is high, the reaction is violent, the slag is stirred, resulting in slag spraying, the iron ingot is hard and not easy to break, the iron ingot contains high aluminum, and the output is reduced.
Factors influencing titanium recovery in high titanium iron smelting
1) With the increase of unit heat distribution, the recovery rate of titanium increases. However, the recovery rate of titanium decreased when the heat reached 3250kj/kg.
2) In the case of a certain unit heat of mixing, the recovery rate of titanium increases with the increase of the amount of lime added, but too much lime added, the melting point of slag decreased, the reaction temperature decreased, and the recovery rate of titanium decreased.
3) Upper ignition, titanium recovery can reach more than 73%.
4) The finer the particle size of aluminum particles, the higher the recovery rate of titanium, and in addition to the reduction of the recovery rate of aluminum particles with large particle size, the aluminum content of the alloy has also increased.
