65 Ferro Silica is an alloy of iron (Fe) and silicon (Si). The silicon content of 65 Ferro Silica ranges from 63-68 percent, which contributes to the strength and oxidation resistance of the steel. Ferrosilicon FS 65 is widely used as an additive in the production of heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, electrical, and spring steels, as well as in the casting of certain grades of cast iron.

Size: 1-5mm,1-10mm,5-10mm,10-50mm,10-100mm or by per customer's requirement.

Remark: Specification and size can be optimized by per customer's requirement.

The ferroalloy is supplied to the market in the form of briquettes (the thickness of which should not exceed 10 cm to allow long-term storage), pieces (weighing no more than 25 kg), and also in the form of crushed particles (in accordance with established supply requirements). The finished raw material should not contain mechanical impurities, with the exception of individual inclusions of welded sand or traces of graphite.

The main area of ​​application of the raw material is ferrous metallurgy, while ferrosilicon FS 65 is used not only to remove oxygen from steel but also as a reducing agent.
