A preparation method for ultra-long silicon magnesium nitride (MgSiN2) nanowires and nanostrips, wherein the preparation method includes: taking 96-50% silicon powder and 4-50% magnesium oxide powder as raw materials based on a total ingredient mass of 100%, uniformly mixing them with an organic binder, grinding, drying, and screening to obtain a mixed ceramic powder; pressing the mixed ceramic powder to form a ceramic green body; after low-temperature debinding of the ceramic green body, placing it in a boron nitride crucible, and conducting a nitriding reaction at 1380-1450°C, thereby obtaining the MgSiN2 ultra-long nanowires and nanostrips on the inner surface of the crucible.
