Calcium Carbide Furnace Production Process

1,Batching, feeding and furnace top cloth
Qualified raw materials are metered and batched from the raw material processing workshop, and then sent into the electric furnace workshop silo by bucket elevator, and then sent into the furnace top ring silo by the furnace top cloth facility, fixed belt conveyor and ring cloth machine.
Furnace top charging facility cloths the charge into the silo as needed, and adds it into the electric furnace in batches by the electric furnace charging pipe.

2,Electric Furnace
Semi-closed calcium carbide furnace is composed of furnace body, furnace cover, electrode handle, electrode pressure release and electrode lifting device, is the main equipment for producing calcium carbide.
Electric furnace powered by the transformer, the charge in the electric furnace by high temperature reaction to generate calcium carbide, and release carbon monoxide gas, generated by the discharge of calcium carbide out of the mouth, open the mouth of the furnace with a burn-through, molten calcium carbide flow to the cooling trolley on the calcium carbide pot.
Electrode pressure release for hydraulic control, using a single layer of cylinders clamping lifting electrode conical ring cylinders clamping conductive jaw plate, the electrode of the normal lifting by the fourth floor of the three winches to control the electrode lifting, pressure release, clamping, down the material control of the first floor operation room in the electric button control.
The electric furnace is powered by transformer, the charge is reacted to generate calcium carbide by high temperature in the electric furnace and release carbon monoxide gas, the generated calcium carbide is discharged from the outlet, the outlet is opened by burn-through device, the molten calcium carbide flows into the calcium carbide pot on the cooling trolley.
The exit furnace is equipped with baffle screen and arc eyeleting frame, and there is a smoke exhaust hood above the exit port, and the smoke generated during the exit is pumped out by a ventilator.

3,Cooling, crushing and packing of electric furnace
Molten calcium carbide is pulled to the corridor or packing room for cooling by top car machine in the calcium carbide pot. After the calcium carbide steelyard is solidified, the calcium carbide steelyard will be lifted out by bridge crane and single-holding pliers and put on the cast iron ground for cooling, and then crushed the calcium carbide to the qualified granularity after cooled down to the right degree, and then packaged in equal poles and sent to finished product storehouse.
