Products Description
Ferro vanadium slag has a significant effect on compensating shrinkage and improving crack resistance in cement-based materials. Considering the performance of flexural strength, compressive strength, and crack resistance, the optimal blend of vanadium iron slag and fly ash should be 20% and 10%, respectively, which results in good mechanical performance and crack resistance for the cement-based materials. The water-binder ratio has a minimal effect on crack resistance.

1.A ferro vanadium powder refining process, the main steps involve stopping the electrode heating during the vanadium-iron smelting process using the aluminum thermal method after the charge has fully completed the aluminum thermal reaction and the slag and alloy have separated. Immediately, a spray gun is inserted into the slag layer to blow reducing powder while the furnace body is rotated. Under the dual action of the impact of the blowing gas flow and the stirring from the rotation of the furnace body, the reducing powder is thoroughly mixed with the slag. Then, the electrode is inserted again to continue heating and melting for 20 to 25 minutes, allowing the residual vanadium in the slag to be further reduced to form vanadium-iron. This can effectively improve the reaction kinetics conditions of the refining charge, and the optimal component ratio and blowing amount can make the refining charge reaction more complete, achieving higher vanadium recovery rates in vanadium-iron smelting and reducing production costs.
