APPLICATION.

1. Ferrosilicon is widely used in steel making and casting. In the steel making process, the steel must be oxygenated to achieve an ideal high temperature environment, and too much oxygen at a later stage will lead to the formation of more oxides in the steel, which will affect the quality of the steel. At the same time, ferrosilicon 70 can also effectively improve the fluidity of steel, improve the absorption rate, reduce the production cost and increase the profit of steel mill.

 

2. Ferrosilicon can also be used as an alternative to modifiers in casting to improve molding and increase the amount of eutectic granules. The addition of ferrosilicon70 in ductile iron production can effectively prevent carbide formation in pig iron and promote graphite deposition and spheroidization. It can effectively improve the flowability of the cast iron, thereby preventing the clogging of the outlet and reducing the tendency of the casting to whiten.
