High Level Material Black Silicon Carbide Powder

1.With fused brown corundum as aggregate, fused brown corundum powder, active α-Al2O3 powder, black silicon carbide powder, spherical asphalt, SiO2 powder, pure calcium aluminate cement as matrix materials, and composite antioxidants with mass fractions of 2%, 2.3%, 2.6%, and 2.9%, the Al2O3-SiC-C castable was prepared by stirring evenly. After adding 5% (w) water and stirring for 3-5 min, the fluidity of the castable was tested; after vibration molding, curing, demoulding, and drying, the castable was heat treated at 1 500℃ in air atmosphere for 3 h, and the mass loss rate, bulk density, apparent porosity, room temperature compressive strength, room temperature flexural strength, and thermal shock resistance of the heat-treated samples were measured.
