It is widely acknowledged that seamless pure calcium cored wire plays a pivotal role in steel and cast iron production. Its exceptional flexibility allows for the creation of a diverse range of seamless pure calcium cored wires tailored to specific alloys.
The advantages of seamless calcium wire are as follows:
(1) The recovery rate of calcium is improved. After feeding solid core pure calcium core-clad wire developed by our factory, the recovery rate of calcium for low carbon and low silicon steel (SPHC) is more than 25% on average, and the use efficiency of calcium is about 52% higher than that of silicon calcium core-clad wire.
(2) Significant cost reduction. The feeding weight of solid core pure calcium cored wire is only about 38% of that of silicon calcium cored wire, representing a significant reduction in costs.
(3) It is more conducive to pure steel production.
(4) Eliminate nozzle clogging in continuous cast steel production.
(5) The operational intensity is reduced.
