What Are The High Temperature Properties Of Mo-La Alloy And TZM Alloy?

Through research on the high-temperature properties and corresponding structures of molybdenum-lanthanum alloys and TZM alloys at 1000~1800°C.

The results show that when the temperature is less than 1400°C, the molybdenum-lanthanum alloy has higher comprehensive properties of strength and plasticity. When the temperature is greater than or equal to 1400°C, the tensile strength of the molybdenum-lanthanum alloy decreases, and the plasticity of the molybdenum-lanthanum alloy also decreases. As the test temperature increases, the tensile strength of TZM alloy decreases, but the plasticity of TZM molybdenum alloy increases, which is exactly the opposite of molybdenum-lanthanum alloy.

At the same time, in terms of strength and plasticity, TZM alloy is better than molybdenum-lanthanum alloy at the same temperature. Structural observation shows that these two molybdenum alloys begin to recrystallize at 1100°C and continue until 1550°C, and their recrystallized grains show elongated structures, which are different from the equiaxed grains in the recrystallized state of pure molybdenum.
