Definition of Ceramic Fibers

Ordinary ceramic fibers, also known as aluminum silicate fibers, are called ceramic fibers because one of their main components is aluminum oxide, which is the main component of porcelain. Adding zirconia or chromium oxide can further increase the usage temperature of ceramic fibers.
Ceramic fiber products refer to industrial products made from ceramic fibers as raw materials, which have the advantages of light weight, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, low specific heat, and resistance to mechanical vibration. They are specifically used in various high-temperature, high-pressure, and easily worn environments.
Ceramic fiber products are an excellent refractory material. It has the advantages of light weight, high temperature resistance, small heat capacity, good insulation performance, good high-temperature insulation performance, and non-toxicity.
There are over 200 ceramic fiber manufacturers of all sizes in China, but the production processes for ceramic fibers with a classification temperature of 1425 ℃ (including zirconium fibers) and below are only divided into two types: silk spinning blankets and jet blown blankets.
