As an alloying agent, Feti 65% Alloy acts as a deoxidiser in steelmaking. It reacts with oxygen and other impurities present in the molten metal to form titanium oxides, which are then removed from the alloy as slag. This process improves the cleanliness and overall quality of the final product.
Feti 65% Alloy aids in grain refinement, resulting in smaller grain sizes in the alloy. Smaller grain structures generally result in improved mechanical properties such as increased strength, toughness and fatigue resistance.
