70% FeSi Lumps

When producing ferrosilicon in lumps, the amount of fines passing through a sieve with holes 20 x 20 mm should not exceed: 10% of the mass of the batch - for ferrosilicon grades 70 Ferro Silica. For long-term storage, ferrosilicon 70 is produced with an ingot thickness of no more than 100 mm when cast in one layer or with a thickness of no more than 150 mm when cast in two layers.

According to the degree of danger during transportation, ferrosilicon with a mass fraction of silicon from 30 to 90% of all size classes for sea and air transport and with a mass fraction of silicon from 30 to 70% for railway and road transport. Ferrosilicon of other chemical compositions, as well as in ingots weighing no more than 45 kg, pieces weighing no more than 25 kg with the amount of fines passing through a 20 x 20 mm sieve no more than 12% is safe when transported open rolling stock of railway and road transport.
