Ferrochrome is used to produce various types of steel, as well as to be mixed with cast iron and other metals. With the addition of ferroalloy, the final material acquires a fine-grained structure, becomes more durable and heat-resistant, it can be quenched and made more resistant to oxidation and overheating.
