Calcium Iron Cored Wire Description
The core layer of the calcium iron cored wire should comprise a mixture of 28%–35% calcium particles and 65%–72% iron powder. The outer layer should be wrapped with a cold-rolled low-carbon steel strip to create the calcium iron cored wire. This process primarily utilises iron to enhance the specific gravity and melting temperature of calcium particles, thereby reducing the rate of calcium evaporation and lowering costs. Furthermore, the iron powder possesses a certain weight, which can expedite the sinking speed of the calcium iron cored wire, enabling it to reach the optimal position in a shorter time.
