Metal silicon 421 is an important material in the metallurgical industry and a common grade of silicon metal. The "421" in its name represents the main impurity content standard of the product, that is, the iron content does not exceed 0.4%, the aluminum content does not exceed 0.2%, and the calcium content does not exceed 0.1%. This strict composition control makes it widely used in many industrial fields.

Metal silicon 421 is mainly produced by electric furnace smelting, using quartz stone and carbonaceous reducing agent (such as petroleum coke, charcoal, etc.) as raw materials, and undergoing reduction reaction under high temperature environment.
