Most cast aluminum alloys incorporate Silicon Metal 1101 to enhance fluidity, reduce shrinkage, and improve mechanical properties Grades like Silicon Metal 1101 (99.79% Si, ≤0.1% Fe, ≤0.1% Al, ≤0.1% Ca) lower melting points and increase corrosion resistance in aluminum-silicon alloys. The alloying process requires uniform particle sizes between 10-50mm for consistent dissolution.
