High Level Material Silicon Barium

Silicon-barium alloy has been widely used as a new type of deoxidizer and desulfurizer for steelmaking, as well as an inoculant for ductile iron. In addition to the silicon-barium content, the requirements for aluminum and calcium are also very strict. For instance, a long-lasting inoculant for large parts requires the aluminum and calcium content to be controlled within a specified range, generally between 1.0% and 2.0%. Therefore, it is essential to research and apply fast and accurate analytical methods.

1.A metal liquid pouring system for producing silicon-barium series inoculants, which includes vertical columns set at both sides of the middle of the mold. A U-shaped槽 is fixed between the tops of the two columns, with a receiving trough slidingly placed above the mold inside the U-shaped槽. The receiving trough has openings at both ends directed toward both ends of the mold, and a retractable trough is rotatably connected to the ends of the receiving trough. A hydraulic cylinder is positioned below the retractable trough, with the cylinder body rotatably connected to the U-shaped槽, and the piston rod's end rotatably connected to the retractable part of the retractable trough. Advantages: The metal liquid is guided and diverted by the two retractable troughs, which reduces the intensity of the metal liquid scouring a single position of the mold; the retraction of the retractable trough allows the discharge position to change above the mold, which can avoid frequent high-temperature scouring of the mold at a fixed position, extending the mold's service life and reducing the frequency of replacements and cleanings, thus decreasing material loss.
