A new process for producing electrolytic manganese flake that saves energy and reduces consumption involves creating a small circulation of catholyte outside the electrolytic cell to assist in the recirculation of the original electrolytic solution. This process utilizes low manganese catholyte to replace high-manganese qualified liquid from manganese slag, which is used to supplement the manganese metal amount in the cell. Additionally, it employs the principle of a heat pump to convert the heat accumulated in the catholyte into hot air and hot water, which are used to dry the manganese sheets, heat the anolyte, and control the temperature of the electrolytic cell with the cooled catholyte. This invention requires a small investment, can utilize existing systems, achieves efficient energy saving and emission reduction, and has significant industrial application prospects.
