Ferrovanadium 50% Fev Description
Ferrovanadium is a special type of ferroalloy with vanadium content from 35 to 85%, silicon not more than 3% and aluminum up to 1.5%. Undesirable impurities such as phosphorus and silicon are allowed in the composition.
Ferroalloy is used in many critical steel grades to improve mechanical properties. The addition of 0.15-0.20 % of ferroalloy significantly affects the strength of structural steel.
