A manufacturing method for powder tape casting of high-silicon steel thin strips involves using reduced iron powder and high-purity ferro silicon powder with silicon content of 70-80% to form a mixed powder containing 4.5-6.7% Si. A solvent, dispersant, adhesive, and plasticizer are added to the mixed powder to produce a stable slurry that is evenly dispersed. This slurry is then cast into a green body using a casting machine. The green body, made from powder tape casting, is sintered in a vacuum or reductive atmosphere at 1070-1170°C to achieve incomplete sintering of the iron powder particles, while silicon and iron undergo partial alloying, resulting in a porous, compressible, and incompletely alloyed high-silicon steel billet. After multiple cold rolling and incomplete sintering, the final sintering occurs at 1270-1330°C in a vacuum or reductive atmosphere to achieve homogeneous alloying of the high-silicon steel, yielding a thickness of 0.1-0.5mm and a density of ≥7.36g/cm.

1.The concentrating effect of the hydrocyclone has a significant impact on the separation efficiency. Using ferro silicon powder as a weighting material, the concentrating effect of a cylindrical heavy medium hydrocyclone was examined under different pressure and density conditions. It was found that: the concentrating effect of the medium is strongest when the medium density is around 2.15 g/cm3; the concentrating effect is weakest when the medium density is around 2.24 g/cm3; when the medium density is constant, as pressure increases, the total flow rate of the hydrocyclone changes over time, and the density of the medium in the underflow and overflow is closely related to the distribution of flow rates.
