Refractories used in gasifiers are easily damaged by refractory bricks with inner layers facing the fire surface. High-pressure, high-temperature slag gasifier has more stringent requirements for refractory materials. In addition to meeting the strength requirements for high-temperature protection of pressure vessels, the corrosion of slag on furnace bricks under high-pressure oxidizing and reducing atmospheres should also be considered. In addition, the performance of a refractory in an application is highly dependent on its heating and maintenance. Failure to maintain or increase the temperature as required for the refractory will affect the service life of the refractory.
