Metal powder is made by electrolysis, atomisation and ball milling. All are physical changes, so electrolytic manganese flake is manganese flake powder. Electrolytic manganese metal flake is the main material for manufacturing manganese tetraoxide, and it is an important alloying element for the production of stainless steel, high-strength low alloy steel, aluminium-manganese alloy, copper-manganese alloy and so on due to the high purity and few impurities.

It is also an indispensable raw material in the production of electrodes, ferrite, permanent magnet alloy elements, and manganese salts for many pharmaceutical and chemical industries; newly developed vibration-damping alloys also require electrolytic manganese metal flakes. In the iron and steel industry, electrolytic manganese metal is also used as deoxidiser and desulphuriser. It is mainly used in diamond tools, powder metallurgy and other industries.

Manganese Flake Powder: Manganese ore extracted from the mine is ground into powder by grinding machinery, i.e. "Manganese Flake Powder", which is a physical process, and the chemical property of manganese ore is not changed.
Electrolysis of manganese metal flakes: After treating manganese flake powder with sulphuric acid and other chemical materials, the metal manganese flakes obtained by electrolysis are called "electrolysis of manganese flakes", which is a chemical process. Manganese compounds such as manganese carbonate in manganese ore become manganese metal flakes.
