Feti 35% Alloy

 

Feti 35% Alloy can be incorporated into welding consumables, such as welding electrodes or filler wires, to serve as a deoxidising agent. During the welding process, it reacts with oxygen and other impurities in the molten weld pool, reducing the presence of non-metallic inclusions and improving the quality of the weld.

In certain specialised welding applications, ferrotitanium may be added as an alloying agent to enhance specific properties of the weld, thus optimising the resulting product. The introduction of titanium into the weld metal enables modification of the microstructure and mechanical properties of the weld.

Ferrotitanium is a valuable addition when welding materials that contain titanium or alloys with a titanium content. It can assist in achieving superior bonding and integrity between the various materials.
