Manganese Briquettes Production Process

 

• The correct quantity of manganese content is 99.5% to 99.7% low-carbon (≤0.03%) and low-sulfur (≤0.03%) electrolytic metal manganese flakes are rolled into powder and passed through a 20-40 mesh standard sieve.
• Next, add 3 to 5 kg of inorganic binders that do not contain elements such as S, P, and C (accounting for 3% to 5% by weight), control the Si content to less than 0.5%, and stir quickly in a bowl mixer for 30 seconds. The mixture is then moulded into a compact for 20 to 30 minutes, resulting in a double ball, table cylinder, or geometric shape measuring 25*35*55mm.
• The compact obtained in step (3) is placed in a baking room equipped with a fan and a circulation exhaust fan within 5-6 hours. It is then baked under a temperature environment of 180-200° C. for 6-8 hours to obtain a maximum crushing force of 1.5KN. Carbon manganese balls:
• The dry manganese metal block obtained in step 1 should be placed into the capsule-shaped special stainless steel tank and sent into the horizontal vacuum sintering furnace.
