The electrical resistivity of ferro vanadium is 24.8 μΩ-cm, and it conducts heat well, making it suitable for applications that require heat to be distributed evenly during alloying. When added to steel, it makes it stronger, easier to harden, and more resistant to corrosion from alkalis, sulphuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
