Pure Ca-Fe Alloy Cored Wire Description

The calcium-cored wire's special structure allows for a calcium yield of up to 24-28%, which is significantly higher than the 11% yield of Ca-Fe cored wire and the 1/2 wire weight of Ca-Fe cored wire's yield of pure calcium cored wire. Consequently, calcium cored wire represents the optimal alternative to Ca-Fe cored wire and calcium granules cored wire.

Alloy core wire is an effective purifier of molten steel, capable of transforming inclusion forms and enhancing castability. It is a cost-effective solution that increases alloy yield and reduces consumption.

The calcium iron cored wire serves the dual function of deoxidising and desulfurising in the steel-smelting production process. It is primarily utilised in the manufacture of cold heading steel, pipeline steel and other low-silicon steel types. The core material is a combination of metal calcium and pure iron powder. The deoxidised outcome, CaO, is also combined with the Al2O3 system in the liquid steel to generate a 7 Al2O3.12CaO sinter of low melting point. This avoids the effect of nozzle blockage arising from condensation of the casting nozzle mingled with the Al2O3 system, ensuring a smooth continuous casting production. The desulfurised outcome rises to the surface easily, allowing it to be removed, thus enhancing the plasticity and tenacity of steel. This product has an annual output of over 4,000t.
